Meet Kacey Shaffer, Au.D.

Dr. Kacey Shaffer is originally from Fairfield, PA, a small town about 15 minutes from historical Gettysburg. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology from Clarion University of Pennsylvania in Clarion, PA and earned her Doctorate of Audiology from the Northeast Ohio Au.D. Consortium (NOAC), involving the University of Akron, Kent State University, and the Cleveland Clinic. She also obtained her certificate in Animal Audiology from the University of Cincinnati.

Dr. Shaffer completed her externship year at CarolinaEast Ear, Nose, and Throat where she gained experience in all areas of audiology. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, an active member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and the South Carolina Academy of Audiology. Additionally, she carries her license for both North Carolina and South Carolina. Dr. Shaffer lives in Mauldin where in her free time, she enjoys exploring the outdoors, going for runs or walks, reading, trying new recipes, and spending time with her cat, Gannon.
