Meet Sherry Casey

Sherry Casey has been practicing as a Hearing Instrument Specialist for nine years. She is licensed in both South Carolina and North Carolina. Sherry has resided in the Carolinas for 16 years. Before moving here, she lived in Connecticut where she grew up. Sherry loves this area and moved here to be closer to her family.

Sherry enjoys cooking and spending time with family and friends. She also loves the outdoors, especially kayaking on the lake in the warmer months as well as hiking and walking her dog.

Before becoming a Hearing Instrument Specialist, Sherry worked as an Activity Professional in assisted living and nursing homes. Although she enjoyed her work with residents and their families, she was ready for a change after 15 years. Working with mostly seniors, many had difficulty hearing and would begin to slowly isolate themselves because they felt left out and sometimes embarrassed that they couldn’t hear what people around them were saying.  Sherry saw firsthand what happens when this becomes a long-term problem. When a close friend told her she could become a Hearing Instrument Specialist, she jumped at the opportunity. Now Sherry gets to be a part of helping people hear the world around them again such as conversing with loved ones, being able to enjoy music again, hearing the birds outside, understanding friends at a noisy restaurant and even the TV more clearly. Sherry enjoys her work and is very passionate about it.

Sherry is excited to be at Davis Audiology where she is a part of a dynamic team that works hard to provide excellent patient care for our Upstate communities.
